Properties

The sealing set contains five packing rings made from laminated carbon non-woven and expanded graphite foil and is additionally coated with a special high temper­ature impregnation.

 

Applications

The product is designed for use in valve applications.

Benefits

  • Very low leakage rates compared to standard expanded graphite rings
  • Minimized adhesion and sticking of graphite particles on the spindle due to the carbon non-woven layer on the inside of the ring
  • Lower friction forces in comparison to expanded graphite rings
